Could you describe your current position?
I am the focal point for any police-related matter arising in the framework of the United Nations, the OSCE and the Council of Europe. I am also the focal point for the Swiss Directorate for Cooperation (SDC) with regard to police-related support programmes. Finally, I advise my superiors in all matters concerning my area of responsibility and related fields, such as peacekeeping operations and security sector reforms.
How do you think the ExecutiveMaster INP will be beneficial to your career plans and projects?
The Master INP is a perfect occasion to improve my skills in negotiation and decision making. As I represent my office in multilateral negotiations within the UN and OSCE in particular, I wanted to improve my diplomatic skills in order to be better in defending my office's positions. I can directly implement the things I learn during the course and this helps me a lot in further professionalizing my job.

I knew the Graduate Institute from my previous studies and appreciate its high quality and excellent links it provides to international organisations and policy makers. Moreover, it is at a reasonable distance from where i am employed in Bern.
