Requirements
To successfully complete the programme, participants must fulfil the following conditions and criteria:
- Attend a minimum of 80% of the course.
- Each module will be evaluated on a separate basis. Evaluation will consist of a take-home work or oral presentations either individual or collective. (30% of the grade).

Final paper: at the beginning of the programme, each participant will define a problem statement related to his/her working environment. The topic will be continuously refined during the course of the programme and will lead to the writing of a final paper which will be evaluated by the participant's supervisor towards the end of the curriculum (50% of the grade).
Or: If the participant selects the two weeks field visit in one of the 3 locations proposed in Asia instead of the final paper, his/her participation to the field visit activities will be compulsory. After completion of the field visit, a short report is requested (50% of the grade)
- Active participation in class (20% of the grade).
Diploma
Successful participant will receive the Executive Master in Asian Affairs of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
The Executive Master is an internationally-recognised "diploma of advanced studies"; it is not a Ph.D programme. It is has a weighting equivalent to 30 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) (European credits standards). Please consult the European universities system for further information about equivalence of credits.
