Dr. Alexandre Dormeier Freire, Senior Lecturer, Executive Education

 

Dr Alexandre Dormeier Freire

Ph. D. in Sociology, from the Graduate Institute of Development Studies, Geneva

 

A sociologist, Dr Dormeier Freire has worked primarily on education and governance issues in Indonesia and Vietnam with a special focus on skills development, labour markets, social transformation and poverty reduction. He has published several articles and books, in French and English, on Vietnam and Indonesia, mainly on education-related topics. He is currently working on the social impacts of the WTO in Vietnam and the global challenges of educational systems in Asia.

 

He is senior lecturer specialised in Executive Education and Regional Coordinator for International Executive Master in Development for the South-East Asia Region
