The Institute hosts university professors, lecturers and researchers with independent funding keen to carry out research and take advantage of the resources and services the Institute has to offer (library, interaction with faculty members and students) and its unique location at the heart of international Geneva. The Institute distinguishes categories of visiting academics interested in doing research at the Institute: visiting academicsVisiting fellowshipsfor researchers at various stages in their careers - from doctoral and early career to more established researchers.
Research Fellowshipsfor PhD graduates with independent external funding or grants (Marie Curie Fellows, SNSF, Ambizione Fellows, etc.) keen to undertake research in one of its fields of specialisation with pluri-annual contracts (SNFS, Marie Curie Fellows, SCIEX scholars etc). Academics from the Global SouthThe Institute has created programmes specifically tailored to academics from Southern universities to permit them to further develop their teaching and research capacities. These programmes are: Global South Scholar-In-Residence programmefor Lecturers/researchers who show strong potential or are well-established in their field.
Global South Doctoral Workshopfor PhD students keen to present and discuss their research with professors and peers during a one-week long workshop.
