Science-based Policies or Science-skeptic Decisions?

 A Politician's Dilemma

 

 

The seminar sought to foster dialogue on an issue of increasing significance in the field of international politics and discuss the changing roles of scientific research and evidence in the realm of policy making. It brought together representatives from academia, civil society, international organizations, multinational companies and the scientific community. Held under Chatham House Rule, the seminar allowed participants to freely express their varied perspectives on how best to integrate scientific findings into policies and legislation at both the national and international levels.
