3C Conference Report
Author(s): CCDP
Details: In early 2009, the Swiss Government convened a high‐level “3C Conference” in Geneva. Co‐convened with the UN, OECD, NATO and the World Bank, the objectives of the conference were to facilitate dialogue across different policy communities in an effort to build on international commitments to promote a more coherent, coordinated and complementary approach in fragile and conflict‐affected states. As a concrete step forward, the organisers sought to develop a “3C Roadmap” for consolidating whole‐of‐government and whole-of‐system initiatives and generating an impetus for their implementation. The CCDP was mandated by the Swiss Agency for Development and Co‐operation (SDC) to provide conceptual support to the initiative, and write and publish a report.
