International Institutions and RegulationCourse Organization
Professors:
Course DescriptionIn today’s globalised world, the increasing interdependence among states has raised questions about the management of issues that go well beyond the border of individual states’ jurisdictions. The proliferation of international institutions over the past six decades is in part a response to a growing need to manage such issues in the best appropriate way. This multidisciplinary course explores the challenges raised by the management of interdependence and puts into comparative perspective the various regulatory methods used by actors in different domains (security, trade, human rights, and environment).
