The Global South Workshop is an opportunity for PhD students from universities in southern developing countries, being in the process of completing their PhD, to present their research to and discuss it with professors and PhD candidates from the Institute in order to benefit from their expertise. In addition to facilitating intellectual exchange, this programme is intended to initiate the development of a network of young graduates from institutions of higher learning in the North and in the South.

The workshop will give selected participants the opportunity to present and discuss their research in a seminar format.

The 2013 workshop is jointly organised by the Graduate Institute, Geneva and El Colegio de México; it will take place from 30 November to 7 December 2013 in Mexico City.

 

  

Student

Candidates are selected on the basis of high-quality applications to participate in the all expenses paid week-long workshop. The deadline for receipt of applications is 30 April 2013.
