Partners and Networks

The teaching, research and executive education activities of the Institute are supported by a network of partners in Switzerland and throughout the world.

Switzerland

The Institute has signed an agreement with the University of Geneva which guarantees that its diplomas are recognised. Together, the two institutions co-manage centres and joint programmes which offer the following diplomas: MAS in International Humanitarian Law, MAS in Humanitarian Action, MAS in International Dispute Settlement.

The Institute and the University of Geneva are also co-founders of the Swiss Network for International Studies whose aim is to promote academic research in this interdisciplinary area and whose members include several Swiss academic institutions, including: the World Trade Institute (Bern), the Center for Comparative and International Studies (University of Zurich and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich), the Swiss Tropical Institute (Basel), the Swiss Institute for International Economics and Applied Economic Research (University of Saint-Gallen).

Throughout the world

Globally, the Institute has entered into partnerships for the delivery of joint diplomas (LLM in Global Health and International Institutions with Georgetown University Law Center), or to facilitate student exchanges (University of Saint-GallenSciences Po, Paris; Graduate School of International Studies, Seoul National University; Lee Kuan Yew School of International Public Policy, Singapore National University; Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Yale University; Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University; Fletcher School, Boston University School of Law; Harvard Law School; Michigan Law School; UCLA School of Law); UCLA School of Law ; Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies (GSAPS), Waseda University).


The Executive Education division has entered into a partnership with Thunderbird, Global School of Management, and has agreements with the Centre européen de recherches internationales et stratégiques, in Brussels; the Communication, Culture & Technology Program, Georgetown University; the School of International Relations, University of Southern California, the Institut Supérieur de Technologies Appliquées in Bamako; El Centro de Estudios y Promociòn del Desarollo in Lima; the Asian Institute of Technology Center in Hanoi; the United Nations Environment Program; the University of Geneva, and the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht.
