THE EXECUTIVE CERTIFICATE

 

Audience

The Executive Certificate in International Economic Relations is designed for the participants of the MBA in Global Management delivered by Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Thunderbird MBA in Global Management is designed for those in mid-career from across private, public or NGO sectors with a minimum of 8 or more years of professional experience, including 3 years of management. Participants represent countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas.

 

Programme Content 

The certificate includes five courses, embedded in the MBA curriculum, comprising 100 hours of instruction with the following courses:

  • Political Economy (part I)
  • Political Economy (part II)
  • Global Economics
  • Contemporary Business Issues in Europe
  • International Law & Dispute Settlement

 

Fees

Tuition fees for attending the certificate are CHF 3'000. Tuition fees do not include Thunderbird MBA tuition fees, travel costs, accommodation or other living expenses in Geneva. 15% discount on Thunderbird tuition fees for Graduate Institute alumni.

 

Degree

Participants who complete the Executive Certificate and write a research paper will receive a Certificate of Advanced Studies from the Graduate Institute (10 ECTS)

 

Benefits for the participants

Successful participants of the Executive Certificate in International Economic Relations become Alumni of the Institute.

In addition to the services dedicated to successful participants of Executive Education (see participants benefits), Alumni of the certificate programme are entitled to additional services from the Graduate Institute including Career services, Graduate Institute events, Chapters, permanent email address (see Alumni benefits).
