Ingrid Helsingen Warner

GLOBAL PRESS OFFICE, LEIDAR

Ingrid manages LEIDAR’s Global Press Office and runs various international communications programmes with a special focus on sustainability and agricultural initiatives. A Norwegian-American, she works across communications disciplines in areas such as international media relations, global media and issues monitoring, content development and event management. Previously, Ingrid was a consultant with Weber Shandwick Switzerland, where she worked with global clients in the energy, technology and healthcare sectors. During this time, she was seconded to StatoilHydro to serve as the company’s communications manager, Africa and Latin America.  In this role, she managed seven communication managers on two continents and advised the region’s management team on all aspects of communications, while supporting media relations, internal communications and brand management. Before this, Ingrid conducted research and consulted on the creative industries for both the British Council and the British Embassy in Norway. She holds a BA in Politics and International Studies from Warwick University, UK.

 

Dr Sophie Huber Kodbaye

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, EXECUTIVE EDUCATION

Prior to joining the Executive Education in January 2011 as the Executive Director, Sophie Huber was the Managing Director of the Centre for International Governance since June 2008.

Sophie Huber was a Training Officer and Programme Coordinator at the Centre for Applied Studies in International Negotiations, a Geneva-based think-tank. She has organised training programmes for diplomats and high-level civil servants from the DPRK, Iraq, Algeria and Guinea among others, during which she has taught on global governance, the external relations of the European Union, and multilateral negotiations.

Sophie Huber has also been involved in academia, organising and participating in conferences on European integration history and politics. She has published some of her work and continues research on European identity discourses. Sophie Huber holds a degree from the Institut d'études politiques (Sciences Po) in Strasbourg, a M.A. in International History and Politics from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva and a PhD in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.

 

Christophe Lecureuil

COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST, LEIDAR

Christophe is a senior communications and public affairs practitioner, with 20 years of corporate, consultancy, institutional and NGO experience at the international level. He is responsible for leading public affairs programmes at LEIDAR. Christophe started his career at the European Parliament, and then moved on to leading public relations and public affairs consultancies in London and Brussels. In the mid-1990′s, he joined McDonald’s Corporation as their Director, Government Relations for Europe, where he was in charge of the company’s Government Relations with EU institutions, representation in trade associations, NGO engagement and support to EU markets. In 2000, he joined public affairs and communications agency, Fleishman-Hillard, as Director Corporate, Regulatory & Trade. There he led a team of 12 consultants dealing with competition issues, advocacy and lobbying, corporate communications, stakeholder engagement and other issues for clients such as Wal-Mart, Marks & Spencer, Volkswagen, Coca-Cola and Hewlett-Packard. Christophe then went to Yum! Brands (KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell) to head International Communications and Public Affairs. Before joining LEIDAR, Christophe served as Communications Manager for The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) where he was responsible for developing the organisation’s communications strategy and tools and building the brand. Christophe is a French national who lives in Geneva and holds Master’s Degrees in Political Science and International Affairs. He sits on the Advisory Boards of EcoWorks International (http://www.ecoworksinternational.org) and of the African Press Organization (http://www.apo-opa.org).

 

Lutz Meyer

SPECIALIST IN GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGIES, LEIDAR

Lutz specializes in developing and managing global communications strategies and programmes for both corporate clients and government institutions. He is responsible for leading international communications programmes at LEIDAR. A German national, who has lived and worked in Germany, as well as Dubai and Nicosia and operated from London, Brussels and Singapore, Lutz has spent most of his 30+ year career in agency management and client service positions for leading international public relations consultancies. Previously, he spent 25 years in senior management positions at Weber Shandwick, the world’s leading public relations agency. Most recently he was President of International Operations for the firm, heading up all Weber Shandwick operations outside the United Sates, and working on multi-client and multi-disciplinary programmes for clients including Siemens Mobile, Invesco Europe, Nespresso and Unilever. Lutz has also held various senior management positions with Action Global Communications, an independent public relations consultancy that focuses on the world’s most promising and emerging markets. At Action, Lutz was initially responsible for the company’s operations and client service in the Middle East and then became the company’s General Manager, working with clients such as BMW, Mini and Rolls Royce, British Airways and First Gulf Bank. Currently Lutz directs and manages one of the largest EC-funded communication projects: The ENPI Information and Communications support programme. This involves planning and implementing public relations strategies in the 16 EU Neighborhood countries (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Israel, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan).

 

Charlie Pryor

COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT, LEIDAR LONDON

Charlie Pryor is an experienced business-to-business communications consultant who leads LEIDAR’s London office. He believes success should be measured by our ability to maximise our clients’ sales potential by increasing awareness of, and perceived value in, their brand, products and services. Before joining LEIDAR, Charlie founded The Wordshop, a London-based consultancy.  He has worked for three of the world’s largest PR agencies, and has more than 15 years’ experience developing, managing and implementing UK, European and global campaigns for clients across a wide range of industries. However, his specialty lies in supporting technology companies, in particular in air transport, retail and telecoms. His clients have ranged from start-ups to market contenders to market leaders, including Airbus KID-Systeme, AstraZeneca, FileVision, Marketworks, OnAir, OneAccess, SITA, The Mall, and TriaGnoSys. Charlie has a BA honours degree in Politics from the University of New Castle upon Tyne.
