Geneva

The Institute is located on the shores of Lake Geneva, a short distance from the international organisations. Participants in our courses have access to an extensive network of organisations, individuals, and experiences that only a city like Geneva can provide.

A first hand perspective of the inner-workings of international organisations

Often referred to as the "capital of peace", Geneva is a city with an international outlook steeped in humanitarian tradition. It is home to the European seat of the United Nations and the headquarters of the Red Cross.

With more than 200 diplomatic missions and permanent representatives, and 300 non-governmental organisations, not to mention an impressive financial and trade network, Geneva is Switzerland's most international city.

A wealth of cosmopolitan cultural events

In addition to hosting several international congresses, Geneva is also a historical and cultural centre. It hosts several trade fairs and exhibitions, festivals and cultural events.

A hub of international activity surrounded by breath-taking landscapes

Nestled between the Alpine and Jura mountain ranges, the French-speaking city of Geneva is in the heart of Europe. With a range of quality hotels and shopping facilities, Geneva offers a breath-taking setting for  fruitful encounters.
