    Profile

    Sumon is a third year doctoral candidate of the international law unit at the Graduate Institute. Her thesis examines methods of treaty interpretation and emerging jurisprudence on substantive equality in international law. Prior to her doctoral study, Sumon worked as a human rights NGO representative at the UN Headquarters in New York, and later as Technical Officer for the ILO Bureau for Gender Equality in Geneva. She holds a B.A. in Literature (Chiangmai University, Thailand), an M.A. in International Relations (University of East Anglia, UK) and an M.St. in International Human Rights Law (University of Oxford, UK).
