    During a long career as part of the Institute’s faculty Henryk Kierzkowski was an active researcher in the areas of international trade, macroeconomics, development and economics of transition. He is widely known for his work on imperfect competition and international trade, an area which he has published a large number of articles as well as a book. He has also worked on the economic transition in Eastern Europe and, more recently, on globalisation in the world economy.
