Feminist International Forum

Bâtiment d'art contemporain, 28 rue des Bains, Geneva

The Feminist International Forum (FIF) is an initiative by the Eternal Tour project, a travelling arts and science festival (Rome, 2008; Neuchâtel 2009; Jerusalem / Ramallah 2010; New York > Las Vegas 2011; Geneva and São Paulo 2012). Feminist and gender issues and have been a guiding thread throughout the various editions: a forum to tackle these issues head on will be held this year in Geneva. By appropriating a format belonging to the academic world, Eternal Tour is creating a space for heterogeneous discussions and work: it is inviting artists, theoreticians and activists to examine the possibility of feminist cosmopolitanism, its representation and the role of fiction in building feminine identity and knowledge.
