Who we are

 

Welcome to the official website of the Alumni Office of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and its Alumni Association.

Are you an Alumnus of the Institute or one of its two predecessors, the Graduate Institute of International Studies (HEI) or the Graduate Institute of Development Studies (IUED)? If so, we are proud to count you as part of the community that built this outstanding institution of research and higher education in the fields of international relations and development studies.

Our mission is to keep you informed about your Alma Mater including what is new, where we are headed, and how you can help support our activities. Our most pressing goals are to:

  • Create Alumni chapters across the globe
  • Designate Ambassadors to represent us all over the world
  • Identify Class Leaders for each year (going back to 1927)
  • Reconnect with alumni we have lost track of
  • Consolidate our online social network groups (mainly LinkedIn)
  • Offer Alumni the chance to mentor our new students

We hope you will use our website to stay connected or to reconnect with us and among yourselves, to learn about the services we offer, and to get involved in the Institute’s activities.
